Two Terrorists Killed in West Bank Raid Targeting Agricultural Attacks
Israeli security forces operating in the Benjamin region of the West Bank killed two Palestinian militants during a raid on the village of al-Mughayyir on Wednesday evening. The operation, conducted by the Benjamin Brigade and Israel Police, targeted a cell responsible for a series of attacks against local farms over the past two months.
These attacks included the theft of sheep and goats from the farms of Givat Or Natan and Mitzpe David, as well as the poisoning of livestock. During previous searches for stolen animals in the village, security forces encountered violent riots from hundreds of residents who threw stones and fired fireworks at them.
During Wednesday's operation, soldiers and police located stolen herds within the village. Hundreds of individuals then emerged, throwing stones and attempting to lynch the security personnel. In response, the forces opened fire, neutralizing two militants and reportedly wounding others.
The Israeli military stated that its forces acted decisively to protect themselves and continue their operations in the area to ensure resident safety and maintain settlement presence in the Benjamin region.
