Ultra-Orthodox Protest Police Commander's Home Over Draft Dodgers' Arrests

Ultra-Orthodox protesters demonstrated outside the Jerusalem home of Police Commissioner Chaim Shemueli, head of the Traffic Division, on Tuesday. The protest was in response to the arrest of draft dodgers. Large police forces were deployed to the scene and attempted to block the demonstrators.

Shemueli's residence is located in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood of Jerusalem. The protesters, identified as extremist Haredim, gathered to voice their opposition to the recent detentions of individuals evading mandatory military service. The police presence aimed to maintain order and prevent escalation.
