Mysterious Line on Soccer Field Explained by Water Pipe Repair

A peculiar line stretching across the pitch at Turner Stadium, home of Hapoel Be'er Sheva, during their match against Hapoel Haifa, has been explained. The unusual marking was visible on Hapoel Haifa's half of the field during the first half of the Israeli Premier League game.

The reason for the line is straightforward: recent infrastructure work at the stadium required the replacement of a water pipe. The grass has not yet fully regrown in the area where the pipe was exchanged, creating the visible demarcation on the field.
