Mysterious Line on Hapoel Be'er Sheva Pitch Explained
A peculiar line observed across the pitch at Turner Stadium during a recent Hapoel Be'er Sheva match has been explained. The line, stretching from side to side on the opponent's half, was not a tactical marking but rather a result of recent infrastructure work.
Stadium officials had to replace a water pipe beneath the field. The grass has not yet fully regrown in the area where the pipe was changed, creating the visible line. The explanation was provided by Sport 5.
The observation was made during Hapoel Be'er Sheva's second-round Israeli Premier League match against Hapoel Haifa on Wednesday evening.
