Jaffa Police Arrest Two Suspects in Hülon Murder and Arms Bust

Police in Jaffa have arrested two suspects in connection with a murder in Hülon and a separate arms and drug bust. The Central Unit of the Tel Aviv District police apprehended a 34-year-old Jaffa resident suspected of involvement in a murder case. A second suspect, aged 30 and also from Jaffa, was arrested after police found half a kilogram of cocaine and a pistol with two loaded magazines near his home during searches.

The murder investigation stems from an incident on June 28, when a car exploded at a gas station in Hülon, killing a 25-year-old Jaffa resident. Following an assessment of the scene by the Tel Aviv District commander, the Central Unit was assigned the investigation. Intensive inquiries led to the arrest of the first suspect.

During searches, including of the first suspect's home, the weapons, ammunition, and drugs were discovered. The second suspect was subsequently arrested for possessing weapons and narcotics. Both individuals have been taken for interrogation, and police intend to request an extension of their detention at the Magistrate's Court.
