Far-Right Leader Rejects Government Deals, Demands Conscription Law

Otzma Yehudit party leader Yitzhak Regev, also known as Itamar Ben-Gvir, has rejected proposals for party mergers, stating emphatically that his party will not be fragmented. "We will not break apart, we will not put two people here and two people there," Ben-Gvir declared in a special statement, addressing his right-wing colleagues and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Ben-Gvir also outlined his conditions for joining a future right-wing government. He insisted that any such government must pass a law ending draft evasion and obligating everyone to enlist and contribute before its formation. "If this does not happen, we will not be in the government," he asserted.

The statement comes amid ongoing political maneuvering and coalition-building efforts following recent elections, with Ben-Gvir positioning his party as a key player demanding significant policy concessions.
