Jordanian News Platform Launches Hebrew-Language Service

A new Facebook page, "Arab Sky News," is offering news updates in Hebrew to an Israeli and Hebrew-speaking audience, originating from a Jordanian news platform. Launched last month, the page features Hebrew-language news updates and videos presented by anchors Yahia Matalka and Shahd Nusayrat. The content primarily focuses on events related to Israel, but also includes regional news, current tensions, and updates from Syria and the Gaza Strip. For instance, a video posted on Wednesday discussed Iranian missile launches into Jordan earlier in the week, with Matalka stating that Jordanian air defense systems successfully intercepted the missiles before they posed a threat. The platform, "Arab Sky," was launched in Jordan ten months ago as a digital media project with cross-border ambitions, backed by Jordanian capital and owned by Ahmad Aqab Al-Tieb and Engineer Nadim Al-Fukaha. It aims to reach diverse audiences in various languages, including Italian and Chinese, and has expanded its reach to the United States and several European countries. Al-Tieb stated in December 2025 that the platform seeks to create knowledge and present an aware picture of events, building trust and quality with its audience, with a vision for a digital future and an Arab identity. "Arab Sky News" is not the only Jordanian platform active in Hebrew; "Royaa News" also operates a Hebrew website, presenting itself as a Jordanian media outlet with Arab and international dimensions covering events in the Eastern Mediterranean for an Israeli and Hebrew-speaking audience.
