French Army: Soldier Killed by “Accidental Fire” in Lebanon

The French army said that a French soldier was killed in Lebanon by “accidental fire” during preparations for a training exercise. According to the statement, the deceased is 21-year-old Florian Gillet, who was deployed in Lebanon as part of the mission to support the Lebanese forces and was a member of the 8th Marine Parachute Regiment.
