Rabbi Yitzchak Zagha Advocates for "Voluntary Emigration" to Resolve Arab Unrest

Rabbi Yitzchak Zagha, a candidate on the joint list of the "Zeut" and "Religious Zionism" parties, has proposed "voluntary emigration" as a solution to unrest among the Arab population, particularly Bedouins in the south. Zagha stated in an interview that the Arab street is in a state of "rebellion" and that the current situation, including widespread illegal arms and protection rackets, necessitates a drastic measure. He envisions a "structured, planned, invested" emigration process and plans to seek foreign countries to host those who choose to leave.

Zagha, who is ranked eighth on the joint list, also criticized the current legal and security frameworks, arguing that soldiers are dying due to legal distortions and a lack of "Jewish identity" in warfare doctrines. He believes that military decision-making has been compromised by lawyers and that a civilian leader, specifically party leader Moshe Feiglin, should serve as the next Defense Minister. Zagha also raised concerns about security vulnerabilities in the healthcare system, citing the acceptance of doctors trained in universities where Hamas has won elections, and called for security vetting for medical professionals.

He further explained the strategic alliance with Bezalel Smotrich's party as a technical bloc designed to overcome the electoral threshold and consolidate votes. Zagha believes this union will bring back disillusioned voters and fundamentally alter the country's security outlook. He also suggested that the Israeli justice system is deeply flawed and proposed establishing a new, independent system of courts based on original Jewish law.
