Customer Stabs Bank Manager in Tel Aviv Branch After Financial Dispute

Exclusive security footage has emerged showing a 67-year-old customer entering a bank manager's office in Tel Aviv with a knife and stabbing her, an incident that occurred about a week after the employee was moderately injured. The indictment filed against the customer reveals that the branch manager was his intended target. The video depicts the accused entering the manager's office, closing the door, and drawing a knife. According to the indictment, he threatened her, saying, "I came to finish you today," and brandished the knife. An employee who intervened to help was cut on the face and moderately wounded while trying to push him away with a computer screen. Another customer sustained a leg injury.

The motive for the attack stemmed from the accused's dissatisfaction with the bank's handling of his financial affairs. Approximately a month prior to the assault, he had visited the branch and threatened the manager, stating, "I won't live - you won't live." On the morning of the attack, at 3:10 AM, the accused had previously concealed his face and applied superglue to the locks of the entrance door and the ATM. Hours later, he returned armed with two knives and pepper spray to carry out the assault.

The suspect has a record of 17 prior convictions, including offenses of threats, assault, and possession of a knife. Following an investigation by the Jaffa police station, the Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against him and requested his remand in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
