Netanyahu Urges Small Right-Wing Parties to Unite or Withdraw

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Tuesday in Jerusalem with dozens of prominent figures from the Religious Zionist community, including rabbis and rabbinetts, urging small right-wing parties to unite ahead of upcoming elections. The two-hour meeting was initiated by "Ma'aleh - The Center for Religious Zionism."

Netanyahu stressed the importance of consolidating the right-wing bloc to prevent wasted votes. "We need to tell the small parties, first, unite. Either unite or withdraw," he stated. He expressed satisfaction with the reported unification of Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, saying, "Gladly I heard that Bezalel Smotrich and Feiglin united, wonderful. Well done."

Among the attendees were Rabbi Eitan Eisman, Rabbi Yigal Levinstein, Rabbi Chagai Lando, Rabbi Uri Sherki, Rabbi Ariel Barali, Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Rimmon, Rabbi Meir Ilbitz, Rabbi Ben-Tzion Algazi, Rabbi Yossi Weitzman, and Rabbinetts Rivka Shimon, Yaffa Gisser, Dana Sallay, and Idit Shilo.

Representatives from "Ma'aleh - The Center for Religious Zionism" offered words of encouragement to Netanyahu, stating, "Mr. Prime Minister, continue to lead, continue to win on all fronts, continue with the great revolutions you have started and we all need to see their execution, Go in this strength of yours and save Israel."
