Cyclist Critically Injured Near Bareket Intersection
A cyclist, approximately 50 years old, was found lying on the side of the road near the Bareket intersection in central Israel early Tuesday morning. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom) received a report at 6:22 AM and dispatched teams to the scene.
Paramedics provided life-saving treatment to the cyclist, who sustained a severe facial injury. He was transported by a mobile intensive care unit to Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, in serious and unstable condition.
Magen David Adom paramedic Sapir Iluz and senior medic Yehuda Hachmon described finding the man "lying on the side of the road and suffering from a severe facial injury." They administered immediate medical care before his evacuation to the hospital.
