Netanyahu Offers Knesset Seats to Prevent Right-Wing Split

According to a report by i24, Netanyahu is prepared to grant Winter four Knesset seats in exchange for him abandoning plans for an independent run. The proposed arrangement includes two seats on the Likud party list and two on the list of Bezalel Smotrich.

Netanyahu has reportedly delayed finalizing additional candidates for the Likud to underscore the price he is willing to pay to secure Winter's cooperation. This offer could potentially allow Winter to include his associates, Yosef Haddad and Netali Shem Tov, on the electoral list.

In parallel developments, Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin announced their parties would unite. Their agreement places Feiglin in the second position on the list, with a provision for modification should Ofer Winter join. These maneuvers highlight a rapid behind-the-scenes push to forge alliances within the right-wing camp, with Winter's potential independent candidacy and the political cost of preventing it being central to the negotiations.
