Police Approve Large Fan Flags for Hapoel Tel Aviv-Beitar Jerusalem Match

District Commander Superintendent Haim Serougo met with Hapoel Tel Aviv CEO Guy Primor on Tuesday to discuss fan support equipment for the upcoming match between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem. Following the discussion, Serougo approved the entry of a large "Manuela" flag for the game, accepting Primor's position.

However, Serougo clarified that if these large "Prisa" and "Manuela" flags are used to conceal pyrotechnics, police will not permit their entry into football stadiums in the future and will take all necessary measures against offenders. He emphasized that while police support fan expression and the importance of stadium atmosphere, their primary role is to ensure stadium safety and prevent disorder.

Hapoel Tel Aviv CEO Guy Primor highlighted the significance of stadium decorations for the club and the broader importance of maintaining vibrant fan sections in Israeli football. Football Association Chairman Shino Zuarz was also involved in discussions with senior police officials regarding the matter, an effort that was appreciated by the club.
