Political Advisors Assess Netanyahu's Chances Amid Shifting Alliances

Political consultants Aviv Bushinsky and Roi Konkol discussed the emerging political blocs and strategies serving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday's "103fm" radio program. Bushinsky suggested that an alliance between Siglovich and the Ra'am party, while strengthening Ra'am, could paradoxically benefit Netanyahu.

Bushinsky explained that as Arab parties collectively gain support, reaching 13 Knesset seats according to polls, their increased strength diminishes the pool of available mandates for an alternative government. He stated that if this growth comes at the expense of parties like the Democratic party, it narrows the maneuvering room for Benny Gantz and his associates to form a coalition, estimating their chances as approaching zero.

Roi Konkol, a former close advisor to Yair Lapid, analyzed Netanyahu's recent boycott video. Konkol deemed the video politically effective, particularly for galvanizing Netanyahu's existing base, describing it as hitting the mark for its target audience. However, he doubted its impact on undecided voters or those considering their ballot choices, suggesting it wouldn't sway them.

Konkol believes Netanyahu's current campaign focus is on re-engaging his core supporters rather than expanding his political base.
