Top Haredi Politician Slams Yesh Atid Amid Party Exodus

Moshe Gafni, chairman of the Degel HaTorah party and a Member of Knesset, launched a sharp attack on Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party, citing the recent wave of resignations and the party's declining poll numbers. Gafni stated that the party, which previously held 24 seats, is now "completely collapsing."

He accused Yesh Atid of repeatedly harming the Haredi public during the last Knesset term, specifically targeting educators in the Haredi school system and the salaries of kindergarten teachers. Gafni attributed the party's current political struggles and perceived collapse to a direct consequence of its policies.

"There is justice and there is a judge!" Gafni declared, framing the party's downfall as divine retribution. He asserted that "24 mandates of hatred have turned into 4 mandates of collapse, and more is to come," referencing the party's significant drop in electoral support.
