Dr. Yossi Londin Appointed History Supervisor for Religious Education
Dr. Yossi Londin has assumed the role of national supervisor (Mafamar) for history within the state-religious education system in Israel. Londin brings extensive experience to the position, currently serving as the head of the history department at Orot Israel College in Rehovot and as the history coordinator at the Darchei Noam Yeshiva in Petah Tikva.
His brother, Rabbi Hagai Londin, head of the Holon Yeshiva, offered congratulations and well wishes for his new role. "May he merit to introduce the children of Israel to the history of the people and the world, from an understanding of God's ways in concealment," Rabbi Londin wrote, expressing hope for his brother's success.
Last year, Dr. Londin appeared on Channel 7 to discuss the establishment of the State of Israel for Independence Day. He spoke about the nation's ability to absorb large-scale immigration, the growth of Jewish spiritual life, and the momentum in construction and settlement.
