Eyal Golan, Eden Ben Zaken Top Israel's Official Karaoke Chart
The official Israeli karaoke chart for 2025-2026, compiled by "Sharim Karaoke" based on hundreds of thousands of user interactions across various platforms, has revealed the nation's most popular songs and artists. Eyal Golan was named the most requested male artist, while Eden Ben Zaken took the top spot for female artists. The music project "HaProyect shel Revivo" was recognized as the most requested musical group, and Ben Tzur was highlighted as the breakout artist of the year.
Pharasi's "Ma Yihiye Mahar" (What Will Be Tomorrow) claimed the title of the most requested karaoke song, surpassing hits like Eyal Golan's "Ir Namal" (Port City) and Shasoon Ifram Shaulov's "Tמיד Ohev Oti" (Always Love Me), which secured second and third place respectively. The top ten songs include a diverse mix of genres, featuring artists such as Omer Adam, Ben Tzur, Hanan Ben Ari, and Nes & Stilla.
Notably, songs released up to three years ago, like "Ir Namal" and "Atalef Ivver" (Blind Bat) by Hanan Ben Ari, continue to maintain strong positions in the top ten, demonstrating the lasting appeal of popular music. The chart also reflects the broad spectrum of Israeli musical taste, from Mizrahi music to contemporary Israeli pop.
Avi Patman, CEO of "Sharim Karaoke," stated that the karaoke chart offers a unique insight into Israeli preferences, showing which songs resonate deeply enough for people to sing them repeatedly. He emphasized that enduring hits, which remain popular years after their release, are a strong indicator of a song's true impact.
