Jewish Vandals Set Fire to Mosque in Palestinian Village

Jewish vandals set fire to a mosque in the Palestinian village of Bazariya in the Samaria region overnight Tuesday, according to reports. The perpetrators fled the scene before security forces arrived. Investigators from the police district, accompanied by IDF forces, entered Bazariya on Wednesday morning following Palestinian reports of hate graffiti sprayed on village buildings. Investigators are collecting evidence and taking testimonies, and the police have opened an investigation. Threatening graffiti was also found on the walls, including messages directed at Roy Sharon, a military commentator for Kan News, stating "Roy Sharon, watch your car." Additional graffiti included the phrases "Evacuations = Chaos, you have been warned."

This incident follows a report from about a week ago detailing severe nationalist criminal activity in the Palestinian village of Ousrin. Residents woke up to find a structure set ablaze, a vehicle burned, and graffiti throughout the village. Photos from that incident show graffiti reading "Revenge for Binyahu 30" and "Death to the enemy, freedom for the homeland." The reference to Binyahu is likely to Binyahu Meltz, a member of the security team and agriculture coordinator at the Gilad Farm, who was killed in a shooting attack near the farm last month. Major Yuval Ezra, 27, from Herzliya, a battery commander in the Artillery Corps, was also killed in that same attack.
