Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana Outraged by Vile Posters Targeting His Children
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana expressed fury on Tuesday after discovering a series of defamatory posters targeting him along the route from his home to his children's school. Ohana had intended to accompany his children, Ella and David, to school for the first day of the academic year.
In a scathing post on his X account, Ohana condemned the perpetrators, stating, "There is no violent, abhorrent, and vile camp like the camp capable of defacing the first day of school for my children, Ella and David, who are going to the fifth grade this morning." He emphasized that the posters were not aimed at him personally but were intended to harm his children, their classmates, and the school.
Ohana described the posters as being placed "all along the route from home to school." He questioned the nature of Israeli society and its political discourse, asking, "Is this the image of the country we want to live in? Is this how we want to resolve our political disputes? It is in your hands."
