Crime Boss Yossi Musli Detained at Home for Employing Illegal Workers

Crime boss Yossi Musli was detained for questioning on Monday evening on suspicion of employing illegal workers at his home in Savyon. Detectives from the Tel Aviv District's Central Unit arrived at Musli's residence as part of an enforcement operation related to a judicial restriction order he is currently under. During a routine check of the premises, officers discovered three Palestinian laborers who were allegedly in Israel illegally and working on renovations.

The three workers were arrested and taken for questioning. Musli and his partner were also detained for investigation on suspicion of employing them. The site manager was also detained and questioned under caution for allegedly hiring illegal workers.

This incident occurs less than two weeks after Musli was released to full house arrest at his Savyon home in connection with a separate investigation into an assault that severely injured a man. Although police sought to extend his detention, a court ordered his release to house arrest. An appeal by the police to a higher court upheld the release, stating the evidence against him had not significantly strengthened.

Musli's house arrest includes strict supervision and financial guarantees. The judicial restriction order allows police close monitoring, including entry into his home to verify compliance with the terms of his arrest, which led to the discovery of the laborers.
