Yesh Atid Members Frustrated Over Campaign Management

Frustration is mounting within the Yesh Atid party as members await Chairman Yair Lapid's announcement on the party's Knesset list for the upcoming elections, expected this Saturday evening. The primary source of discontent, as reported by Kan News, centers on the campaign's management, which some incumbent Knesset members feel is being controlled by former associates of Naftali Bennett.

One serving MK told Kan News that "the campaign is run by Bennett's people, the veteran Yesh Atid MKs are not involved at all." This sentiment is amplified by the understanding that most of the party's current 24 MKs are unlikely to secure high enough positions on the new list to be re-elected.

However, some current MKs are expected to retain prominent spots, including Vladimir Beliak, Naor Shiri, Merav Ben Ari, and Merav Cohen. Recently added reserve Major General Noam Tibon is also anticipated to receive a realistic placement.

This internal tension coincides with a recent wave of departures from the party. MKs Boaz Toporovsky, Ron Katz, and Meir Cohen have already announced they are leaving. Yoav Segalovitz and Elazar Stern will run with other parties, Ra'am and Yesh Atid, respectively. MK Mickey Levy is also reportedly considering not running with Yesh Atid in the upcoming elections.
