Commentator Yaakov Bardugo Slams Left-Wing Alliances, Calls for Expulsion

Commentator and broadcaster Yaakov Bardugo sharply criticized political alliances forming on the Israeli left during his radio program on Galey Israel. Bardugo expressed support for potential mergers within the Religious Zionist and ideological right-wing camps, specifically endorsing a union between Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir, calling it a "necessary union" and a "natural move" due to their similar economic views.

Conversely, Bardugo vehemently attacked alliances on the political left, singling out former Deputy Minister Yoav Segalovitz. He condemned Segalovitz's potential alignment with Mansour Abbas and the Ra'am party, deeming it an "unnatural union." Bardugo stated that no Jew or Zionist could reconcile such a partnership after holding a significant position like head of the Israel Police's investigations department. He concluded his remarks with a harsh call for those involved in such alliances to be "expelled from Israeli society."
