Hapoel Jerusalem Dominates Holon in Preseason Basketball Opener
Hapoel Jerusalem launched its 2026-27 preseason campaign with a decisive 102-76 victory over Hapoel Holon on Monday. The game marked the return of players Gabi Chachashvili and Yuval Sussman to the court after extended absences.
Jerusalem, led by new acquisitions, controlled the game from the outset, establishing an 18-28 lead by the end of the first quarter and extending it to 31-57 by halftime. The dominance continued in the second half, with newcomers Jake Milton and Dusan Miltic emerging as standout performers.
Jake Milton led all scorers with 22 points, shooting efficiently from the field and the free-throw line. Dusan Miltic added 16 points, while Roey Huber and Nimrod Levy each contributed 12 points. David Roddy scored 11, and Devonte Cacok added 10 for Jerusalem.
For Holon, Shahar Amir was the top scorer with 19 points, followed by Claude Harris Jr. with 18 and Brandon Jones Jr. with 17. The game was played without full rosters for both teams.
