Givat HaRo'eh Celebrates Settlement Regularization and New Sports Field Opening

An emotional event took place yesterday in Givat HaRo'eh, a community in the Benjamin region, marking the regularization of the settlement and the inauguration of a new sports and events field. The ceremony was attended by local residents, public figures, and guests.

Among the dignitaries present were Minister of Settlement and National Missions Orit Strock, Head of the Benjamin Regional Council Yisrael Gantz, and Secretary-General of the Amana movement Ze'ev Hever. Also in attendance were Hava Kleinman, Deputy CEO of the Shilo Fund for Israel's Children, and Tzvi Mor, a candidate for the Religious Zionism party and chairman of the Tikva Forum.

In the past year, Givat HaRo'eh received an official settlement symbol, and 461 dunams surrounding it were declared state land. The new sports and events field was established with assistance from the Shilo Fund for Israel's Children. The field is already used daily by the community's children for recreation and serves as a venue for community gatherings and events.

Residents of Givat HaRo'eh highlighted the settlement's development after years of effort, challenges, and persistence in establishing their right to settle and build in the area. The community, which includes children, is growing, with significant future plans for the settlement.
