Protesters Block Road Near IDF Recruitment Center Amid Clashes
Dozens of protesters gathered near the IDF recruitment center in Tel HaShomer on Monday morning, blocking the road in protest against the conscription of Haredi men into the military. The demonstration led to confrontations with police forces.
The police declared the gathering an "illegal demonstration" and stated that officers were working to disperse the protesters. In response to the protest, Yaakov Dori Street in Kiryat Ono was closed to traffic in both directions, from Levi Eshkol Street to Shlomo HaMelech Street. Drivers were advised to use alternative routes and avoid the area.
