Guri Alfi Auditions for Band 'HaDag Nachash' in New Comedy Series
After 30 years together, the Israeli band HaDag Nachash is looking to add a seventh member and has announced auditions. Comedian Guri Alfi was the first to try out, urging the band to return to their roots and recapture their original energy. He stated, "Where is the funk? Where is the groove?" Alfi's audition marks the first episode of a five-part micro-comedy series produced by Ynet and HaDag Nachash, which premiered this week on Ynet. The series, written by Omri Amitai and Adar Marom and directed by Roey Florentin, features a different guest each episode attempting to convince the band they are the right fit for the seventh spot and performing a song with them. Other guests auditioning include Yonatan Baruch, Joy Rieger, Roy Bar Natan, and Daniel Chen. A new episode will be released daily on the Ynet website at 8:30 PM. The band members include Shanan Street, Guy Mar, Davidush Klemes, Moshe Asraf, Yaya Cohen Ahronov, and Shlomi Allon.
