Suspect in Partner Assault Arrested After Three-Month Manhunt

Police in Israel have arrested Shalom (Charlie) Buzaglo, who was wanted for questioning for three months in connection with the assault of his partner. Buzaglo was apprehended on Sunday in a hideout apartment in the city of Dimona.

The investigation began approximately three months ago at the Ashdod police station following a report of a severe domestic violence incident. Buzaglo fled his residence and attempted to evade capture, prompting an extensive search by law enforcement and a public appeal for information.

During his months on the run, investigators from the Ashdod station conducted numerous intelligence and investigative operations. Indications suggested Buzaglo moved between various locations across Israel, including Eilat, Jerusalem, Haifa, Ashdod, and Dimona, reportedly with assistance from others to avoid arrest.

On Sunday, based on precise intelligence, officers raided a hideout apartment in Dimona and arrested Buzaglo. He has been transferred to the Ashdod station for questioning, and police intend to seek an extension of his detention in court.
