During the Jewish month of Elul, a period of introspection and spiritual yearning, Hasidic music artists Dov Maisel and Bentsi Stein have released a joint rendition of the song "HaBen Yakir Li" (The Beloved Son). This marks the first-ever duet between the two acclaimed singers, known for their emotional depth and unique vocal styles.

The song, originally featured on the album "Tnuot" and performed by Mordechai Ben David, is set to a melody composed by Rabbi Yoel Israel Zupnik. The lyrics are based on Rashi's commentary on Moses' plea, "The beloved son is Ephraim to me," conveying a message of God's enduring love for every Jew, regardless of their spiritual standing.

Maisel and Stein's collaboration offers a contemporary interpretation of the melody while preserving its spiritual essence.
