Hasidic Leaders Visit Communities, Offer Blessings Ahead of High Holidays
Several prominent Hasidic rebbes have been visiting communities and holding gatherings to offer blessings and spiritual guidance as the High Holidays approach. Rabbi Elimelech Biderman, a renowned Hasidic preacher, delivered a strengthening discourse at the "Chakal Yitzchak" synagogue in Ramat Beit Shemesh, addressing the Spinka Hasidic community.
In Meron, the Rebbe of Erloy visited the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, leading prayers and holding a "tish" (a gathering with singing and spiritual discourse) for the yeshiva students. He offered words of encouragement for the upcoming Days of Awe.
The Rebbe of Seret-Vizhnitz visited Beitar, where he met with his followers for counsel and blessings, and also attended a "chalaka" (a traditional haircutting ceremony for a young boy) for the son of a prominent community activist.
In a separate event, the Satmar Rebbe revealed his reasons for agreeing to meet with President Trump, stating that every Jew is more valuable than a gentile. He shared this with students at his yeshiva in Kiryat Joel.
Other notable events included the wedding of the first great-granddaughter of the Mohnokov-Belz Rebbe, where the Rebbe surprised attendees by only taking on the recitation of the Ketubah. In Givatayim, a memorial ceremony was held for the 30th day after the passing of Rabbi Chaim Dov Halperin, son of the Vassoy Rebbe, with his father and father-in-law present.
