Liberman Dismisses Netanyahu Fears Over Ofer Winter's Political Move

Avigdor Liberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, has dismissed concerns that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should fear retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter's potential entry into politics. When asked by Channel 7 if Netanyahu should be worried, Liberman responded, "Anyone who is worried should see a doctor; there are medications for paranoia, they should take them." He praised Winter, stating, "He is a man of values, a fighter."

Liberman made these remarks during a visit to the Tel HaShomer recruitment center on Sunday, where hundreds of Haredi men were enlisting. He was questioned about Winter and the assertion that Netanyahu fears him due to Winter's alleged closeness to Liberman and his associates.

Liberman welcomed Winter's potential move into the political arena, saying, "I welcome any good person who joins the political system." He further elaborated on Winter's character, describing him as "a man of values, a fighter, and I welcome any quality, value-driven person who has joined the political system."
