Liberman Blames Netanyahu for Blocking Ofer Winter's Promotion and Removing Kobi Eliraz

Avigdor Liberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, publicly criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his associates on Friday for their recent accusations against Ofer Winter and Kobi Eliraz. Liberman questioned why Netanyahu and his circle are blaming Winter and Eliraz when, according to him, Netanyahu himself obstructed their advancement.

Liberman focused primarily on Ofer Winter, asserting that despite promises and commitments, Netanyahu prevented Winter from being promoted to the position of the Prime Minister's military secretary. He stated, "The one who did not promote Ofer Winter to the Prime Minister's military secretary, contrary to all promises and commitments, was Benjamin Netanyahu."

Regarding Kobi Eliraz, Liberman claimed that Netanyahu was responsible for abruptly ending Eliraz's role in the Ministry of Defense. He said, "The one who immediately removed Kobi Eliraz from the Ministry of Defense was Benjamin Netanyahu."

By highlighting these two cases, Liberman aimed to redirect the criticism back to Netanyahu, arguing that the Prime Minister himself was responsible for hindering Winter's promotion and forcing Eliraz out, thus discrediting the current accusations from Netanyahu and his allies.
