Hapoel Haifa Expects Half a Million Shekels from Match Against Hapoel Tel Aviv

Hapoel Haifa is set to face Hapoel Tel Aviv tomorrow in their opening match of the Israeli Premier League season at Sammy Ofer Stadium. Approximately 6,000 visiting fans from Hapoel Tel Aviv are expected to attend, while around 3,500 Hapoel Haifa supporters are anticipated to be present. The club estimates that the match will generate about 500,000 shekels in revenue.

New signing Shikhaana Diakite conducted his first training session with Hapoel Haifa yesterday, leaving a positive impression, although he will not be included in the squad for the match. If signed, Diakite would provide the team with a much-needed boost on the wing. Additionally, William Agada, the latest acquisition, is expected to make his debut from the bench, while Wahib Habiballah is fit but unlikely to start.

The team is encouraged by their performance in the Toto Cup and the atmosphere at a recent open training session attended by a thousand fans. However, they remain cautious as it has been two weeks since their last official game.
