IDF Chief Warns of Losing Control Amid Rising Jewish Terror and Gaza Tensions

Israeli military sources report that Arab terrorism is at a historic low in 2026, but highlight a surge in Jewish settler-related violence, with 70 clashes between Palestinians and settlers recorded just this week. After a 10-month lull in operations in Jenin, IDF and Yamam forces killed Hamas operative Qais Bitawi in the Jenin refugee camp, dismantled during Operation Iron Wall. Bitawi was responsible for orchestrating multiple terror attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces, maintaining connections with Hamas in Gaza and abroad.
