Israeli Passenger Finds Antisemitic Note in Luggage on Flight from Seattle to Tel Aviv

Noa Sever Dvoscin, a 48-year-old Israeli resident originally from Los Angeles, discovered an antisemitic note in her suitcase upon arriving in Israel on a flight from Seattle to Tel Aviv. The note, written in large letters, contained the curse "F Israel." Sever Dvoscin reported feeling scared, uncomfortable, and disgusted by the threatening message, taking care to prevent her children, aged 9 to 16, from seeing it.

Following the discovery on Monday, she promptly reported the incident to American aviation authorities, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Embassy in Israel. The American organization StopAntisemitism condemned the event sharply, raising concerns about potential future threats such as explosives being placed in luggage.

This incident follows a similar event about six months ago when an El Al flight from Los Angeles to Tel Aviv was delayed after "Free Palestine" stickers were found on equipment at the airport. The recurrence of such antisemitic acts highlights ongoing security and hate-related challenges faced by Israeli travelers abroad.
