Search Underway for 6-Year-Old Boy Missing in Tel Aviv Park Lake
On Friday afternoon, firefighters from the Dan District began searching for a 6-year-old boy who entered a lake in Park Darom (Menachem Begin Park) in southern Tel Aviv. According to the fire department's statement, the boy entered the lake near Birnit Street, apparently accompanied by a friend who managed to exit the water safely. The boy, however, remained missing, prompting an ongoing search operation.
Firefighters and a special rescue unit known as Yalam are actively involved in the search efforts. Additionally, the Lahav unit, the national special rescue unit of the Israeli Fire and Rescue Services, was dispatched to the scene to assist. Authorities have not released further details yet but continue to work intensively to locate the child.
