Former Bank Leumi CEO Rakafet Roscak Aminach Joins Cybersecurity Firm Rubrik's Board

Rakafet Roscak Aminach, former CEO of Bank Leumi and current managing partner at Team8, has been appointed as a director on the board of the American cybersecurity and AI company Rubrik. She will join other prominent technology and investment leaders, including John Thompson, former Microsoft chairman; Ravi Mhatre, co-founder of Lightspeed Venture Partners; and Mark McLaughlin, chairman of Qualcomm. Roscak Aminach founded Leumi-Tech and the digital bank Pepper, and currently leads fintech and infrastructure investments at Team8. She also serves on the board of BNY, one of the world's largest financial corporations.

Previously, until 2025, she chaired the chip unicorn Halo, which raised over $300 million but faced liquidity issues and was eventually sold at a fraction of its investment to Microchip. Rubrik, which operates a development center in Israel following its 2023 acquisition of the startup Laminar, is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange with a market value of approximately $22 billion after recent stock gains.

Roscak Aminach emphasized the critical role of cybersecurity and secure AI use in organizational stability today, noting Rubrik's high standards in these areas. Bipul Sinha, Rubrik's CEO and co-founder, highlighted her extensive experience leading financial organizations through complex regulatory environments and digital transformation, especially in global financial systems, calling her expertise a significant asset to Rubrik's board.
