Man Killed on Route 65 Near Afula While Changing Tire After Vehicle Breakdown

A man in his 30s died in a fatal road accident on Route 65 near Afula after being struck by a passing vehicle. The incident occurred when the man had stopped on the roadside due to a technical issue and was reportedly in the process of changing a tire. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) were dispatched to the scene following a call received at 13:33. Upon arrival, paramedics found the man unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and suffering from severe multiple injuries. Despite medical efforts, his death was pronounced at the scene. MDA emergency medical responders Nir Moskowitz and Yosef Yamin described the victim lying near a truck, critically injured, confirming the man had stopped due to a vehicle malfunction before the accident.
