Over 130 North American Immigrants Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport Singing Hatikvah
More than 130 new immigrants from North America arrived at Ben Gurion Airport on Thursday morning, greeted with great excitement. The group, arriving in partnership with the organization Nefesh B'Nefesh, participated in a festive ceremony marking their arrival in Israel. The immigrants were visibly moved, some to tears, as they sang the Israeli national anthem, Hatikvah, shortly before the start of the new year. Following the ceremony, the new arrivals are set to begin their lives in Israel with the opening of the new year.
