Around 150 New Immigrants from US and Canada Arrive in Israel Today

Approximately 150 new immigrants from the United States and Canada are expected to arrive in Israel today. In August alone, over 1,100 immigrants from North America arrived, with more than 2,200 anticipated by the end of September. This wave of immigration is supported by several organizations including Nefesh B'Nefesh, the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Jewish Agency, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL), and JNF-USA. These groups assist immigrants throughout the entire process, from preparation in their countries of origin to arrival and completion of absorption procedures in Israel. Since the beginning of 2026, around 2,700 new immigrants from North America have made aliyah, with August marking a record month for immigration numbers.
