Tzvika Mor Demands Complete Hamas Disarmament to Prevent Another October 7 Attack

Tzvika Mor, a candidate from the Religious Zionism party and father of captive survivor Eitan Mor, participated in a protest at the Kerem Shalom crossing calling on the Israeli government to decisively defeat Hamas. Mor emphasized that partial pressure on Hamas is insufficient and advocated for the full disarmament of the Gaza Strip to eliminate any future threats to Israeli border communities. He stated, "The people of Israel stand behind the government and want a Zionist solution for Gaza, which means destroying all armed groups and then initiating the evacuation of Gaza’s residents."

Addressing the recent entry of aid trucks into Gaza amid ongoing public debate about the war’s direction, Mor acknowledged the necessity but insisted that no progress is possible until Hamas is disarmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). "Only the IDF can disarm Hamas," he said, warning that Israel is not prepared for another attack like October 7. Mor also praised ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Orit Strook for preventing concessions during the war, crediting them with maintaining a strong right-wing stance that avoided territorial compromises.

Mor criticized any moves allowing foreign forces into Gaza before Hamas fully disarms, asserting that only Israel can guarantee its security. He also warned against the renewed launch of incendiary balloons from Gaza, calling them a "reset" by Hamas that could escalate into more dangerous attacks. Concluding, Mor outlined his vision for long-term security: removing hostile elements from Gaza entirely, likening the situation to 1948, and protecting southern Israeli children from ongoing threats as they return to school.
