Micha Ohana in Talks to Join Hapoel Petah Tikva After Leaving Maccabi Haifa

Micha Ohana, who played for Maccabi Haifa last season, is currently negotiating a contract with Hapoel Petah Tikva, a top-flight Israeli Premier League club. Ohana ended his tenure with Maccabi Haifa this past summer and has been seeking a new team since then. He has already declined an offer from Bnei Sakhnin and remains a free agent as discussions with Hapoel Petah Tikva continue for the current season.

Last season, Ohana made 20 appearances for Maccabi Haifa, scoring three goals and providing four assists. Although he started the season outside the main squad, he became an important player under coach Barak Bachar by the end of the campaign. Ohana began his professional career at M.S. Ashdod and subsequently played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Beitar Jerusalem, and Maccabi Netanya. He returned to Ashdod in 2023 before moving to Hapoel Tiberias, from where he transferred to Maccabi Haifa.

If the negotiations with Hapoel Petah Tikva succeed, Ohana will embark on the next chapter of his career in Israeli football with one of the league's notable teams from last season.
