Or Yehuda Beer Festival Draws Thousands to New Location
The city of Or Yehuda concluded its summer cultural season with its traditional beer festival on Tuesday, drawing approximately 2,000 residents and visitors. This year's event was held for the first time at a new, more central location in the "Steel Parking Lot" (Hinyon Ha'Plada), chosen to provide a larger, more accessible space for attendees of all ages.
The festival offered a rich culinary and cultural experience, featuring a wide selection of local and international beers alongside diverse food stalls. The main stage hosted prominent Israeli artists including Mosh Ben Ari, Avraham Tal, Dikla, and Aviva Avidan, who performed for the large crowd.
Mayor Liath Shochat praised the festival's success, noting its growth into a cherished annual tradition. The event, produced by the municipality's Culture and Events Department, marked the end of a summer series that included dozens of cultural activities across the city, attracting thousands and receiving positive feedback for their diverse programming.
