Hundreds Celebrate Grand Wedding of Darg Hasidic Rebbe’s Grandson

This week, hundreds of Darg Hasidim gathered to celebrate the wedding of the grandson of the Darg Rebbe, Rabbi Asher Rozenfeld, son of the Rebbe’s eldest son. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Yosef Ernster, head of the Maor HaChaim rabbinical court in Jerusalem, and granddaughter of Rabbi Ze'ev Ernster. The groom is Rabbi Yechiel Michal Shidrovitzky. The joyous event was attended by a distinguished assembly of rebbes and prominent rabbis from the Hasidic world.

The celebration took place following the conclusion of Shabbat Nachamu, a time traditionally associated with spiritual uplift. Other notable Hasidic events around this period included Rabbi Elimelech Biderman’s inspirational visit to Beitar Illit, and the engagement of the grandson of the Tamishvar and Mishkenot HaRoim rebbes. Additionally, the grandson of the Ziditshov Rebbe was released from military detention after 20 days, with preparations underway for a large welcoming event.
