Harel CEO Highlights Brand Index Achievement During Investor Call
Harel Insurance Group CEO Nir Cohen concluded the company's Q2 2026 investor call by celebrating a notable achievement in the Globes Brand Index. Harel was the only company from the insurance, banking, and finance sectors to be listed among the top 100 brands in Israel. Cohen emphasized that the ranking reflects not just brand recognition but the level of trust and appreciation consumers have for the brand, distinguishing Harel from other financial institutions.
Cohen noted that while internal surveys already showed Harel as a leading and strong brand in its sector, the Globes survey uniquely measured consumer trust and esteem, which are critical for business growth. He linked this recognition to the company’s strategic focus on efficient operations and high-quality service, expressing optimism that these efforts will translate into improved financial results.
The announcement came after Harel reported a strong second quarter with a total profit of approximately 1.02 billion shekels and a return on equity of 37%. The Globes financial portal also launched a new service providing full transcripts of investor conference calls for publicly traded companies on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, aiming to enhance transparency and investor understanding.
This development underscores Harel’s growing market presence and the importance of brand trust in the competitive Israeli financial sector. The company plans to continue leveraging its brand strength to drive future growth and shareholder value.
