Home Front Command Issues False Rocket Alert in Western Negev, No Security Threat Found

A brief moment of alarm occurred in the Western Negev region when the Home Front Command app issued a rocket and missile alert for the area of Kibbutz Alumim in the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. Shortly after, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) clarified that the alert was a false alarm and confirmed there was no security threat in the area. The IDF reiterated the importance of the public continuing to follow Home Front Command guidelines and instructions during any genuine alerts.
