Katz claimed that after a recount, Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology Gila Gamliel, who initially secured the 25th spot, was pushed down to an unrealistic 35th place by Eti Atiya, who reportedly surpassed her in the vote count. This drop could exclude Gamliel from the next Knesset, raising questions about the integrity of the vote tally. Gamliel's associates accused the process of being manipulated in secrecy, stating, "The counting was falsified behind closed doors." The initial primary results had already seen several well-known Likud members, including Nissim Vaturi, Hanokh Milvitsky, Avichai Boaron, Keti Shitrit, and Ariel Kallner, lose their spots and miss out on the upcoming Knesset.
