Amena Women Host Special Appreciation Evening for Israeli Reserve Families in Tiberias

The Amena women's branch in Tiberias organized a special appreciation evening for dozens of Israeli reserve families, offering workshops and a unique performance to provide a break from routine. The event, held during the summer vacation, aimed to offer warm support and joyful hospitality to children and their parents amid challenging times. Activities included joint creative workshops by the Arli Starters association, a shofar workshop inspired by the month of Elul, and a special tribute show for reserve children by Shaked, known as "The Fairy of Legends." These activities provided precious hours of shared enjoyment and respite.

This event is part of ongoing support efforts by Amena women in Tiberias since the outbreak of the war. Volunteers continuously organize bonding evenings for reservist wives, distribute holiday gifts, initiate children’s activities, and assist with daily needs such as cleaning and babysitting. Personalized support is also provided based on emerging needs. The initiative is led by branch manager Noga Hadari in cooperation with Aliza Sarur Bendalak, director of the Early Childhood Center.

Amena Movement Chairwoman Yifat Sela praised the volunteers’ dedication, emphasizing that true partnership is measured by actions. She stated, "Our national resilience is built on community, heartfelt connection, and quiet daily deeds from the field. Since the war began, Amena women in Tiberias have shown that true partnership is not just words but the small and large acts that give reservists and their families the strength to continue. Together we will keep acting and prevail."
