Meni Shteicher and Moshie Mendelson Release Emotional New 'Malach' Clip for High Holy Days

Ahead of the High Holy Days, Jewish music artists Meni Shteicher and Moshie Mendelson have launched a deeply emotional new music video titled 'Malach,' marking the first installment in a planned series designed to accompany listeners on a spiritual journey toward repentance. The project, released during the month of Elul when hearts open and emotions run high, features a fresh arrangement of the classic tune by Avraham Mordechai Schwartz, originally composed by Anshel Friedman.

Unlike typical single releases for this season, Shteicher chose to debut a full series of performances that will be gradually unveiled, starting with 'Malach,' a central melody traditionally sung during the High Holy Days prayers. The new rendition preserves the original's sacred depth while offering a contemporary interpretation. Moshie Mendelson and his brother Shrolik handled the musical arrangement and production, creating a rich and moving soundscape that complements the combined vocals of Shteicher and Mendelson.

Shteicher, who initiated the project, explained that his emotional connection to Elul melodies inspired this release, even as he works on original projects.
