Retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter to Launch New Political Party with Significant Financial Backing

Retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter is set to officially launch his new political party on Tuesday. According to reports, Winter's team has controlled a dormant party formerly known as "Freedom" for several months. In early June, the party was renamed "My People Live Forever," with Avi Rahamim from Jerusalem registered as its chairman and CEO.

Financial disclosures submitted to the State Comptroller reveal the party has already secured substantial financial guarantees totaling hundreds of thousands of shekels. Winter's daughter, Aviv, provided a guarantee of 150,000 shekels, while Abraham Rahamim, owner of Lotus 101 in Jerusalem, contributed an additional 125,000 shekels. The party also obtained a 200,000-shekel loan from Discount Bank.

In addition to these guarantees and the loan, the party received a 14,000-shekel donation from Jonathan Greenwald, a Miami-based real estate businessman known for previously providing guarantees worth 4.1 million shekels to the Yamina and New Hope parties. Greenwald has opposed the formation of the recent change government and has financially supported Amichai Shikli's legal expenses. The party stated that all financial details are publicly available and transparent in the State Comptroller's reports.
